Fruit driven nose led by wafts of white pear, granadilla and gooseberry softened by kiwi fruit, golden delicious apples and hints of lime. This medley of tropical fruits extends onto the palate where it is further enhanced by an underlying salinity. The mouthfeel captures the purity of Elgin’s fruit, resulting in a layered, well-balanced wine with good length. Delightful while young but is expected to show her pedigree and mature with stylish grace and aplomb, with further time in the bottle.
