Our maiden vintage Pinot Noir red wine from 10 year-old vines has now matured and the flavour character has produced an elegant wine. The grapes were grown on a lighter, sandy soil composition with a mixture of shale and decomposed granite. The wine has been aged in 225 L barrels for only 6 months to retain fruit flavour and elegance.
The Pinot Noir’s creation has been driven by fruit flavour and produced in a new world wine style. Our Pinot Noir flavours consist of black cherries and mocha with well integrated oak. There is a well-balanced natural acidity that lends freshness on the palate and produces a smooth finish.
Pairs well with chicken and lamb.
