This MCC (a blend of more or less equal components of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) was the celebratory drink of choice at both Nelson Mandela’s inauguration and Barack Obama’s presidential win.
Each varietal contributes a specific characteristic to the end result- fruit and elegance from the Chardonnay, while the Pinot Noir lends complexity and length of flavour.
This delightful sparkling wine exudes light yeasty aromas, limey fresh fruit on the nose, and rich creamy complexity on the palate. Its fine mousse imparts freshness and finesse. Outstanding when chilled and served as an aperitif and equally delicious with a wide range of dishes, such as west coast oysters or grilled seafood.
